Hi,
Is there a way to create another wireless wifi point 5ghz or 2.4?
I down want to use the same ssid with both 2.4 and 5.
Since theres a speed issue in mt case 5ghz much faster and a lot of my wireless devices are already connected to 2.4 with deferent ssid.legacy things or devices that not support 5 google home.alexa smart bulbs etc...
The guest network can give the solution but seems like its an isolated network and not working properly.
Please advise...
Very simple. Buy two sets of Deco's. Assign one set to SSD #1 and make it 2.5 Ghz by turning off 5Ghz. Assign the other set to SSD #2 and make it 5Ghz by turning off 2.5 Ghz. Place each pair of 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz close enough together to run a cat 5 between them. Viola, perfect solution for twice the cost. Wait a minute, maybe that's why tp-link isn't fixing this themselves. This way they can make us buy twice as many of their Deco's.
