Model: Archer VR900
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 170303

I have just purchased/installed an Archer VR900 dsl modem/router.

It connects to internet just fine and all network devices, both wired and wireless have internet access and throughput/speedtest is fine.

However, access to the router's management interface (web interface) is painfully slow and frequently it simply does not respond.  I have tried both Chrome and IE (both latest versions). The router firmware is up to date.

Is this normal for these devices or does anyone have any suggestions as to what might cause such dreadful performance?

@m1keg

With computer connected to the Archer VR900, please try to ping the gateway of the TP-Link router, which is 192.168.1.1 by default and please show us the results.

Try to reboot the router and verify whether it works. And you can change another device to access the web UI.

Still the same, you can hard reset and reconfigure it to verify whether it works.

Good day.
