Deco M9 Plus v2 firmware not possible to update and are missing features compared to v1
I have v2 and the DECO app reports that I have 1.2.10 Build 20190809 54285
On the webpage https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/download/deco-m9-plus/#Firmware however there is a newer 1.2.11 20190926 55727
Why does the DECO report that I have the latest firmware and why cant I upgrade to 1.2.11?
On the other hand what Im really asking for is to get the same features as HW v1 got.
You have release 1.3.0 with lots of new features and it was built in August and Released in October. Why dont we get that for revision v2?
All these things was release on Ocotber for revision v2
Modifications and Bug Fixes:
1. Added support for IPTV bridge mode and custom mode.
2. Added IPv6 firewall rules feature.
3. Added Mesh Technology option.
4. Displayed which client is connected to which deco and which Wi-Fi band.
5. Displayed how Decos are connected to each other.
6. Supported up to 64 entries each for Address Reservation and Port Forwarding.
7. Improved the system stability and fixed some bugs.
Notes:
1. Please update your Deco App to the latest version in order to use new features.
2. If there are other Deco models in your Deco network, you may miss some new features till other models release updates in the near future.

The update is visable on the UK homepage and probably possible to upgrade using the normal update process in the app if you live in that region
However the release notes only mention fixes and increased stability.
So this is still probably not the added functionality that all other deco mesh products (including v1 hardware of m9 plus) received 6 months ago.
I have tried to return my m9 3-pack to my swedish retailer but they refused due to 30 day return period. However since they are still selling this product that seems to have been forgotten by tp link they said that will look into this lacking engagement.
I have given up since long, the product still working ok as is but maintenance and commitments from tp link is still not ok.
I am afraid that some security flaw will be found and due to unability to update the product they will become useless over night.

Referring to: ""i have upgraded to that one but does not have the features of the v1, but now im using a beta the 1.2.12 and has the features from the v1 If you want i can give you the link".
I tink that is strange because when I look inside the new firmware zip file I see: M9Plus_2.0_en_1.2.13 Build 20200117 Rel. 50852_US_JP_EU_up.bin
This suggest that this is 1.2.13. This is a higher version number than your beta. You are sure you tried this one?
Sadly my deco m9 plus still doesn't detect this new firmware in contrast to the M5 that was just also updated with new firmware.

same here; could not return so I'm stuck with it. Anyway; perhaps if we get more atttention TP-link will start communicating what their plan is.
Perhaps placing reviews on amazon etc is the way to go?

You are right. I installed 1.2.13 using the tool and I still don't have the web UI or other new features.

I thought that if any of your connected nodes had old firmware they all revert to the functionality of the oldest firmware?
Some people with V1 who add a V2 to there network loose all the functionality?
Maybe wrong though.

if you upgrade the master mode to the beta you will gain new functionalities on that particular device, but not on the other devices
