@IanVerar

The Deco can work with the TP-Link powerline adapters together, but not the mesh network.

It is suggested to connect them like modem--main Deco -- PLC/slave Decos.

May it help.

@Kevin_Z Hi thanks for replying, I have this star network setup, so correct me if my setup is wrong, I can do a modem--maindeco--switch--Powerline--slave decos, can i do this? Since my bedroom is on the 3rd floor, but its a loft type, so i need to connect a powerline then after slave decos

Hello, you can do that. The main powerline adapter connects to the switch, and the second one connects to the slave Deco.

@Kevin_Z

quick question

here is my setup.

modem-->>deco9plus--tplink app speedtest 320Mbps) >switch-->PLC(av500) -->Wall

nextroom(deco9plus)-->PLC(av500)-->wall - getting 190 Mbps speedtest.     When connecting laptop directly to PLC only getting about 60Mbps

bedroom(deco9plus)-->PLCav500-->wall. Getting about  200 Mbps Speeed test,   When connecting laptop directly to PLC only getting about 70Mbps

backroom(Cisco AP 3702i) own Ssid) -->PLC--Wall only getting 30Mbps ?? Even connecting laptop directly to PLC. Any idea why?  Shouldn't I get closer to 50-90Mbps?  Since the PLC are 100Mbps adapters?

any clue what's wrong ?  Or will my issue be fixed if using a gigabit PLC ??

do these Mesh AP know to use the faster link ? Which is mesh instead of the PLC link which gets less speed?

Thanks.
