Archer C60 Rebooting Randomly
Hello everyone, I am from India
I bought the Archer C60 in July of 2018. Since past 2 days, the router has started to randomly reboot. 5 devices (2laptops + 3cellphones) are connected to it via WiFi. No wired connections.
Could use some help.
P.S: Would also like to know what is the warranty period of this router, is it 1year or 3years?

@SravanD You can download it from this page - its very simple, just flash it from the firmware update page of the router admin page.
Please refer to instructions and keep it open in tabs so that you can troubleshoot if you need.
You'll also need to understand how to login and setup wifi once its installed -> UI is different from standard router admin page of course.

Thanks everyone for pitching in. The router was relatively fine since the day I posted this issue but now it has started acting up again. And once again, nothing was changed. I am actually back on my old Netgear router right now.
I might try flashing the Opensource firmware mentioned in the above post.

@Mozard did it fix the issue?
I have the same problem, restarts randomly...due to COVID19 ,the work from hom is a big problem, random restarts is embarrassing in meetings

I moved to OpenWrt firmware. Just upload the image as firmware update and need to re-do all configuration settings (That's obvious). UI is bit different though. I too tried changing adapter, it didn't work. After switching to OpenWrt firmware, it's working fine. It's been since a week without restart with OpenWrt firmware.

@Mozard I have the same issue. with the same routwer it started a few weeks ago the router will just reboot once or twice a day.
Not sure what happened.
I tried all different reset options to no avail.
Hope to find a solution.
And regarding the firmware(openfirmware) can you reset the original firmware if that does not work?

I am having the same issue. I'm from Toronto, Canada and started to face it after installing a smart plug. It seemst the router gets lost and restarts. When not using the smart plug is working fine, but it seems to be router's fault. I'll try the firmware from OpenWRT.

Having the same issue, however it happens only once or twice a day, i just switch off the router for a few minutes and turn it on again when the issue occurs. Anyone knows if the openwrt firmware is a legit fix?
