i have 843ND last firmware working as router and 701ND v2 last firmware working as repeater, worst connection ever had, not stable, i cannot be sure if DHCP is forwarding from router to repeater (probably not after 20 minutes) the only that stays some kind of stable is the lan connection to 701ND, everything else every few minutes loses ip. I COULD ACCEPT A MISTAKE IF THE ROUTER WAS FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, BUT ITS UNACCEPTABLE, 2 ROUTERS FROM SAME COMPANY SAME TECHNOLOGY AND CANNOT CONNECT EACH OTHER . MY OLD 743ND V1 WAS FAR MORE STABLER. 701ND IS THE WORST EVER USED, I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT KIND OF TESTS YOU DID BEFORE YOU PUT THIS THING TO THE MARKET!

Tried that and it works well so far~ while I'm not sure whether it's suitable for yours.

confirmed .....this router (??????) works as any kind of repeater (WDS or Universal) ONLY with unlocked networks....if you try to connect to any kind of LOCKED (WPA and over)......its just useless! 3-4 minutes later any connection just ends, only reboot fix the problem for 5 more minutes, and then again and again......!
