Model: TL-PA8010P KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0_2.2.3_EN50561-1_0607

I have been having short random disconnections to my downstairs network for some time, I have investigated as follows.

Network setup - Upstairs Broadband router (Draytek) connected to 8 port unmanaged switch and a PA8010P V2 1300Mbps.

Downstairs PA8010P 1300Mbps connected to 8 port unmanaged switch and RyZen 3400G computer. Both PA8010P V2 are straight into sockets.

The wiring from the upstairs socket is a 16amp Radial into it's own mcb and downstairs is a 32 amp ring main into an mcb on the same side of the consumer unit.

I purchased a small program which pings three outside servers (Google, Level4, OpenDns) at user set intervals and logs the results of any loss of feedback from the servers.

First I ran it on the Ryzen downstairs computer. These are just short examples, I ran the computers for 24 hours with the same but longer results.

Now I connected a laptop running the program directly into the upstairs 8 port switch

With exactly the same program settings there were no disconnections.

I then set one of the pings on the program on the Ryzen (downstairs) to ping the network gateway every 1 second

No disconnections.

If I run a computer directly into the upstairs network before the PA8010P no disconnections.

If I ping the network Gateway every 1 second no disconnections.

The mode in the Utility program is set not to sleep.

If you draw the same conclusions as I do that one or both of the PA8010P are taking a nap on the quiet would you please concoct some way of fixing the problem or if you have any other ideas please put them forward.
