Hi,

Last week I start getting some random spikes of packet loss when my pc is connected to the router. I also have a tp-link modem and when I connect my pc directly to the modem I dont get those spikes. I've already reset the router and keep getting the same spikes. how can I fix this?

@David2803

What is the model number of the TP-Link modem?

What is the led status of the TL-WR720N when you lost packets? Can you get internet from WR720N at that time?

Try to ping the gateway of TL-WR720N which is 192.168.0.1 and 8.8.8.8. please show us the results as well.

Besides, try to adjust some wireless settings, like wireless channel and channel width, change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 and ensure that the firmware is up to date.

Good day.
