HI,

I have just bought 2 M5 Deco's and want to know if I can also use a WA850RE extender with them to increase tyhe coverage?

I had 2 850's but for some reason 1 just stopped working.  The lights work but nothing else.  I will get more info and maybe post it in another more appropriate forum section.

Thanks

oz

@ozstar

Hello, the TL-WA850RE can work with Deco M5 together; The Deco M5 supports 2.4GHz, even though the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi use the same network name, the 2.4GHz still can be detected by the TL-WA850RE which supports 2.4GHz only.

And below is the instruction to set it up.

Note: Please use the Deco M5's wifi password to configure it.

Please notice that we can use the TL-WA850RE to boost the wifi signal, while they can not build up the mesh network with the Deco M5 together.

May it help.
