Hi, I am having this recurring issue of Archer c1200 v2 not connecting to internet. I looked at the log and it said 'wan plugged off' or something like that. Then I thought it must be an ISP issue but having checked with them, there was no issue. So I put in my old router, everything worked fine.

It looks like there is an issue with the firmware for Archer c1200 v2 version. I have requested for an RMA. Also request updated firmware to resolve this would be great.

Please verify whether you have connected the modem to the blue/WAN port of the Archer C1200, and please tell us the current led status, especially the internet(globe) led. 

 

Try to change another ethernet cable to connect the two devices and try to connect one of the LAN port on Archer C1200 to the WAN port on itself and test whether the internet led comes on. 

 

Besides, when and where did you buy this router?

@Kevin_Z As I have mentioned in my post, everything works fine with the old router. When I plug in Archer, internet led is orange and no internet. Hence suspecting an Archer issue.
