Archer AX6000 5Ghz stops working after app. 1 day
Hi,
I just bought a Archer AX6000 router. I'm having trouble with the 5 Ghz band. After a clean start up of the router the 5Ghz works fine. I have laptop, 2 phones and a tablet that can all connect to it. But after a day or so the connection is lost and I can't reconnect. The 5Ghz network is intermittend down. So, when scanning for networks sometimes the 5Ghz network is visible, but then dissapears again. This happens on all 4 devices, which make believe that the origin of the problem is with the router.
In a wifi analyzer app I see the same thing. The 5Ghz network is there, and then it isn't. Then it's back again and then it's gone again.
I updated the firmware to the latest available version, which is version 1.0.6.
Any ideas on how to solve this? Or should I return it?

I updated yesterday to 1.1.0, it's really great that new features such as WPA3 are now supported.
However a few hours after updating, again the 5Ghz signal dropped - exactly the same issue as we've been reporting in this thread for many versions.
I've tried now to set the 5Ghz channel manually to a non DFS channel, I'll see if this helps in the coming days.

glad to hear you have a new firmware update, but people are now complaining it's blowing up their router. What's up with that? Where are instructions and release note to corrected issues and why? I do not plan on installing a firmware update that will pull my router down again. I have work for business that needs to get done.

I may be in the minority here, but my router has been stable for more than 3 months. I have also updated to the new firmware without any issues and it's been stable so far.
I tend to think now that the Wifi issues in my case have always been triggered by some issues with my Internet provider or electricity surges.

Come on, you can do better than that. I have no issues with my provider or electric surges.
I have Archer AX11000 and it is doing the same thing. I have been speaking to TP Link for months now, no result whatsoever. Promises and promises and email exchanges that do nothing.
My router started to behave after 1.0.4 Firmware update. It was not doing this before that. And I have then complained about it ever since and no solution. Few days ago I have called TP Link had a long conversation with the support agent from China. I was referred to others about it because the agent admitted did not have the expertise for this be be resolved.
I have problems with the 5Ghz and with IFTTT and OpenVPN. None of the solutions have worked out with them. I am tired of writing to them. I have work to do and I have to reboot the router for to getting my 5 Ghz back. Also it has now dropped in speed as well because of rebooting. Thanks to all that. The DSLAM in the cabinet needs 10 days of stability, which I don't get because of rebooting before that. So the DSLAM thinks I am unstable and lowers down my internet speed due to it.
It is a endless problem with no resolve. Why don't we get it sorted with them ?

@Solla-topee Is it beta or stable tested version of a firmware? I am just asking because it seems this product came out without been ready for market since even users had send to garbage bin.
