Archer AX6000 5Ghz stops working after app. 1 day
Hi,
I just bought a Archer AX6000 router. I'm having trouble with the 5 Ghz band. After a clean start up of the router the 5Ghz works fine. I have laptop, 2 phones and a tablet that can all connect to it. But after a day or so the connection is lost and I can't reconnect. The 5Ghz network is intermittend down. So, when scanning for networks sometimes the 5Ghz network is visible, but then dissapears again. This happens on all 4 devices, which make believe that the origin of the problem is with the router.
In a wifi analyzer app I see the same thing. The 5Ghz network is there, and then it isn't. Then it's back again and then it's gone again.
I updated the firmware to the latest available version, which is version 1.0.6.
Any ideas on how to solve this? Or should I return it?

@Pelicashka you should try the 1.0.8.P9 firmware version. It´s beta but for me it´s the more stable version so far if you don´t enable so much features.

Please, do us all a favor and bring it back to the store. Buy an Asus or other brand, this tp-link stuff is a waiste of money, problems problems and problems and nobody here to solve them......

@broxtor I was also having huge issues with instability but so far the beta send to have solved the issue... How long before the firmware is released as a full version?

Situation update:
The beta release did help on my side as well. I'd love if there was an opt-in to beta checkbox at the check for firmware updates page, and I would not have to find "who knows which one is the latest" builds from the forum, it would be even better if the released firmware would not have such serious issues - but hey, I've stopped complaining, my router is at least working finally, after a week or so.

I have the same issue with the 5Ghz dropping out and only a reboot brings it back. What the heck?!!!
Can't TP-Link finally make a reliable firmware upgrade to fix the problem everybody has?

It would be very useful if people would link to the newest firmwares and specify the version number, so that users having issues could at least try out the latest.

There were also some who commented here previously that they had more luck with the P8 build, and if security is a concern, this one is from a tp-link address, as opposed to the google drive link of the one above. Also, the build date seems to be later, so it might be useful to check this one:

I'd really love if there was a beta update channel or at least an official url to download beta builds, though.
