Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

about 5days ago I set up two M4 decos with a plusnet 2704n router. Before connection router was giving download speeds around 4Mb and upload 1Mb.After the connection, which seemed to go straight forwardly( including firmware update), the speed dropped to 2.6Mb download and 1Mb upload this stayed the same even when hard wired into deco or router. I then disconnected all the decos and checked the router speed it was showing the same as when the decos were attached ( 2.6 and 1 Mb) and has stayed like that for the last 3 days. Anybody got any suggestions?

@qssdrc

Hello, cause the speed from the plusnet router is the same, it is suggested to contact their tech support to get some suggestion first.

If it turns good, then please connect the Deco M4 back to the Plusnet router to test the speed from Deco M4.

If it is still slow, please show us the information below:

1. The current network diagram.

2. The Operation mode of Deco M4.

3. The actual speed you can get from Deco M4 and the wired/wireless negotiation speed.

Note: Here is the instruction: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2265/

4. Any advanced feature has been enabled on the Deco M4? Like QoS or parental control?

Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.
