@Olafmol   Completely agree with you.

Tp link has to allow the user the priority of connection of the decos between them.

It is a unanimous request.

@Rioja the whole system is a scam, false labeling, and should NOT be sold as a mesh solution.. The only people who are not complaining are those that don't understand what a mesh system is and how it is suppose to work. They probably don't even know that the only satellite that works is the main router. The other slaves/satellites are useless... This system is a complete failure to say the least. Mine is already packed up and ready to be returned to Amazon. What a shame!

@DP_84 the beta firmware is a waste of time and energy. Save yourself the headache and return this piece of crap system if your return policy hasn't expired..

@TP-Link

For M5 mesh system and others.

Tp link has to allow the user the priority of connection of the decos between them. Decided by the user.

It is a unanimous request.

Thanks

@TP-Link The ask here is simple. Provide whatever network optimization algorithm which you feel will improve the situation.

But, also provide a way for the customer to select the source manually so that we can try out what works best in our case, in case your algorithm doesn't help.

Not sure why this is such a big thing to provide, given everyone is asking this for years. We are just stuck with a useless M5 system and a useless algorithm.

@TP-Link

Good Morning. I cannot understand that TpLink technicians do not give an answer to the questions and suggestions of people like:  md_naveed - Rick128 and myself Rioja.

The issue is important to a very large number of people who are customers of the decos manufactured by TpLink.

I still wait for a reflection and an answer.

@TP-Link

Hi

i have FIVE deco M5 units around my home and updated to the latest software with the Optimisation.

Some units are in neighbouring rooms upstairs but still decide to get their signal from the main unit downstairs and a weak yellow one bar connection.

The network optimisation reports that its "Perfect"- I assure you that it is not.

With each unit costing around £70 I have made quite an investment here and have several tplink bulbs and plugs but I'm seriously looking at ditching the whole lot and going with another provider that is fit for purpose.

thankfully it's not as if everyone is working at home and relying on a strong WiFi signal to work or anything!
