I have a set up in my home to eliminate dead zones. This solution works very well. However I have 2 dead zones that need covering. So I purchased a second TL-WPA7510 adapter. The problem I have is I can't have both of the TL-WPA7510 turned on together and the signal drops, I can only have one switched on at any one time.

Q. Can I have 2 TL-WPA7510 on the same network and if so what am I doing wrong?

@christpk

Hello, you can use multiple TL-WPA7510 in the same network to boost the signal and eliminate the wifi dead zone.

While you need pair them first, ensure that the powerline led (house led) comes on.

Then plug them into the wall sockets to verify whether they work properly.

If not, please provide the led status of all the powerline adapters, and the IP address and gateway you can get from them, instruction as below: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/838/

  @Kevin_Z

Is there a maximum number of WPA7510 units that can be connected to a single PA7010?

I had 3 connected, all running the same WiFi networks and delivering good speeds.

I then purchased a 4th WPA7510 kit and connected it to the same PA7010 unit. Since then, the existing WP7510 units have dropped to 11 Mbps (previously between 300 - 600 Mbps).

When I disconnect the 4th unit, everything goes back to working properly again.

I have tried the 4th unit in multiple powerpoints in the 'dead zone' end of the house, with the same result each time.

Please help.
