Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20190617 Rel. 47476

As subject. Fairly serious security issue. I changed my initial - easy to guess - password to a more secure one. Logged out of the app and when I logged back in I used the new password and all was well. However, logging in on a PC this didn't work and I had to use my old password! What!? Then when I switched to the deco app on my phone again it asked me to log in again and once more I had to use my old password!

@netizensmith

Hello, did you change the password of the cloud account?

After you changed the password of it, please try to access the cloud website with your email address and new password and verify whether it work.

https://www.tplinkcloud.com/

After that, you can re-login to the Deco app or the web UI and verify which password is needed.

Besides, you can reset the password on the cloud website.

May it help and have a good day.
