Archer T3u USB 3.0 low speeds
O.S: WIndows 10 (1903)
I've been measuring low speeds with the Archer T3u when connected to the USB 3.0 ports. I know that is nothing wrong with the ports because I've tested in other notebook and I have an Archer T2u that is performing well in those ports. When connected in the 2.0 USB ports, everything is well and I the device works just fine. I'm getting Kbps speeds and I want to know if you guys have notticed something like that.

What is the bandwidth you paid for your ISP?
With T3U plugged into the USB 3.0 port, please run a speed test and show us the result.
In the meantime, please verify the wireless negotiation speed of your computer.

To do a comparison analysis, with T3U plugged into the USB2.0 port, please verify the details mentioned above as well.
Besides, have you ever tried to reinstall the latest driver from the official website?
Good day.

@Kevin_Z I forgot to mention in my last reply that the maximum data rate is stated on 520 Mbps also via "netsh wlan show interfaces" through the command prompt.

@Kevin_Z thanks for the reply. I pay for 120 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. I've tried to uninstall/install the driver form TP-LINK website multiple times with same bad performance results in usb 3.0 ports. I also used iPerf3 with a gigabit connection to max out my adapter and the results are the same. Other than this, everytime I change between networks the device disconnects from my notebook(I tested with other notebooks and it is the same thing)and then gets connected again. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for your reply.
With T3U plugged into the USB 3.0 port, please click here to check the wireless negotiation speed with computer connected to the host network.
Meanwhile, as you mentioned, you have an Archer T2U also, you can plug it into the same USB 3.0 port to run an actual speed test.
Have you ever tried to connect T3U in USB3.0 port to different wireless networks? like 2.4GHz and 5GHz or the mobile hotspot? What is the result?
Thanks in advance, and have a good day.

I have the same problem using the Deco m9 +.
I am getting max 140 down and 40 up. my WiFi negotiating speed is 840 ,I have dedicated the M9 to only use 5g and have installed the latest drivers.
But alas to no avail , still very low down speeds .
Any other ideas to increase the speed would be very welcome.
Cheers jae
