Intermittent internet dropouts on the TPLink AX-6000
This only happened after the latest firmware (its not even on the website yet), but laptops in my home with an Intel WiFi chipset seem to be connecting to my AX6000, but are unable to connect to the internet. I have verified that this issue is localised to the Intel chipsets, as my mum's old Broadcom adapter never loses connection.
I have tried switching off "Smart Connect", rebooting the router, turning off the 5Ghz band AND turning off Wifi 6 to no avail. The devices lose their interconnection intermittently, when the computer reports the device as "Connected, with no internet", I cannot even get into the router gateway.

@Nerdsinc With the last firmware 1.1.0 Build 20200427 rel.80857(4555) , for my Archer AX6000, the wifi is very slow almost every 2h00...
I have to change some configuration in wifi settings to get the normal speed... then change again few hours later.
Do you have a more stable version? what's wrong with this router?
I have 600Mbps/s, but 1h00 later, only 2Mbps/s, and i have to reboot the wifi router to get my speed back:(
Thanks

Hi, @ecointet I have the same problem.
Changing a non wifi related setting on the router, for example, turning off USB sharing and applying fixes the problems and the wifi is back to normal operation.
This is frustrating.. I'm using 1.1.0 Build 20200427 rel.80857

After doing some experimentation I think I've found a stable setting using build 1.1.0 Build 20200427 rel.80857.
I've disababled 2.4 Ghz and forced static Channel Width and Channel.
This config as been stable for around 24 hours.
I'm using a mix of 802.11ac and 802.11ax devices, like Macbook Pros, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XS, and they've all maintained connectivity since these changes.
I haven't tried increasing the Channel Width yet.
Edit: Added firmware build version.

You guys might want to check out the other forum post we have going that talks about these same issues.
I have been in contact with TP-Link via e-mail, but no solution yet.
Agree with all that it is getting very frustrating.
As with others, my issues didn't begin until the latest firmware upgrade.

I have had the same problem. I just updated the firmware yesterday 10 August 2020 with the app. This problem has been going on since I purchased this router 6 months ago. My Centurylink Gig fiber seems stable, but lately the bandwidth has been slower than usual 500Mbts vs 800-900. While I'll have 20-28 clients on the network at any time, At most only 3 will be activly used. My issue has mostly been with the wifi, diffculty to connect and periodic dropping, the wired connections have also been dropping lately. I've tried to eliminate devices one by one to see if they are causing interference but none have. I am in the process of getting another router from Centurylink to see if that resolves or improves the problem.

Hello,
Do you still encounter the dropping or speed issue with the latest firmware? The issue is exactly the same as on the older firmware?
Once upgraded the firmware, can you please reset the AX6000 to its factory defaults and reconfigure it from scratch to give it a go?
Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it and let you know. New issue, not able to get the app to connect or the web interface to come up. This router is junk.
