As replied to others here, this will be forwarded as a feature request to our developers for consideration, they will evaluate and feasibility, while whether the A9 will support Onemesh or not will depend on its hardware and firmware, so we hope you could understand it. Keep an eye on the official website for any future firmware updates, thanks.

Thanks for replying Kevin. I appreciate it. I understand that developers are yet to evaluate.
However, it would be better if you could say how long we have to keep an eye on this, so that we don't end keeping an eye for years to come.
since we have only 2 of them, we may need it for other purposes too.

Sorry, TBH, we cannot give you an ETA or determine how long you will wait for the new firmware which supports Onemesh. If you do need this urgently and the return window is still open, please contact your reseller to return it, thank you.

I agree with the others. I went with the Archer A9 because it was obviously expected to get onemesh on it. If devices like A6 have onemesh, it would be a shame to not have it in A9. I request tplink support to prioritize this feature request so a firmware could be released as soon as possible.

+ 1 feature request
If It had been supported on my A9, I would probably have bough a RE315 right now, there is sort of a dead-spot in my dining room, but I don't want to add it just as a repeater :(

Hi TP LINK support,
Any update on this feature? I have two Archer A9. I purchased these for my two separate residential places and now it seems like I am not able to setup one mesh. This is really upsetting as lower model is supporting that feature. Please update.
