Samsumg Smart TV with Deco.M4
Samsumg Smart TV with Deco.M4
The Smart TV (Samsung KD 43XF8596) detects the WiFi but when trying to connect fails with a message of "WiFi network refused connection". The TV can connect to the ISP's router WiFi correctly.
On the Deco app, I can see the device as unknown a few seconds and then it is moved to offline devices.
I have tried to disable Fast roaming with no success.
Every other device works correctly with the M4's WiFi.
Mesh configured with 2 Deco4. Connections: ISP Router-Deco-Lan switch-Deco.

Thanks for your requesting. Every other devices work correctly with the M4's wifi means that the Deco should be working fine; we can do some troubleshooting first and try to fix it.
1. Try to disable 5GHz and enable 2.4GHz only.
2. Please disable QoS.
3. Please disable fast roaming as you did before.
Besides, it is recommended to contact the tech support of TV to get some specific help.
Good day.

I have checked that it works only when one M4 node is on (and the other is off). The TV detects each node as a different WiFi network when listing all available WiFi networks. I think this is the issue. I will contact the TV manufacturer and let you know.

Thanks for your valued reply.
Cause the TV works only with one M4 powered on only, with it connected, you can go to Deco app and disable "mesh technology" option for the Samsung TV.
Note: With TV connected, open Deco app, click the global icon and hit the specific M4 and then you can see the option to disable mesh.
Besides, you can give it a go if there is some suggestion provided by their tech support.
Good day.

Dear Colleagues,
similar problems with Samsung TV 58NU7100 and 2 units of DECO E4.
TV WiFi is configured to connect to the Deco network... working fine. After turning the TV off and on again the connection is lost. It takes longer to connect automatically or sometimes no connection at all.
All other devices works perfectly in the same WiFi network.
For the moment I have to use an ethernet cable for the TV.
Any idea what could be the problem?
Thank you
