Model: Deco
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

im using 2 m4 and 2 m5.

only one of m4 is connected wirelessly.

so...

sometimes if power goes out and come back, that wireless deco unit connects other deco unit whatever power on first and never changes. even though there is a so much closer unit around.

if i reboot the wireless deco unit, then it connects to closer unit.

@kkumul

Thanks for your reply.

Based on Adaptive Path Selection and self-healing feature, the Deco will connect to the existing network after the power cut to builb up a mesh network; while as you mentioned, it won't switch to the closer unit around, instead, it keeps connecting to the Deco which power on first. I suspect that the signal strength does not reach the threshold value of the RSSI, that is why it does not trigger to switch front-end Deco unit to be connected.

You can relocate the wireless Deco unit further away to give it a go.

Any updates, please let us know.
