Compatibility Powerline AV500 and AV 600
The AV 500 powerline no longer works. I replaced it with an AV600 but it seems impossible to combine the AV600 with the AV 500 extenders

What is the model number of the powerline adpaters? It starts with TL-WPA/TL-PAxx.
Meanwhile, all the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other, please ensure that the powerline led on the adapters is lit up, which looks like a little house.
Besides, you can use the tpPLC utility to pair them, instruction as below:

I tried to use the tplinkplc.com address to access the extender and set them up manually but they would not connect, you just get a message came back "failed something went wrong" So what do you do please to get them set up.

Good day.
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
Is your av500 TL-PA4010 and AV600, TL-WPA4220, single adapter or a KIT?
Have you tried to download the power-line utility to manually change the power-line network name to be the same, like all TP-Link?

Thank you~
