Archer C3150 v2 discontinued
Hello,
I bought this router few days ago, previously I had Archer C7 v4 which has only USB 2.0. I bought Archer C3150 V2 because it had USB 3.0, USB 2.0 port, Beamforming, MU-MIMO and other cool feature. I used my router to download contents directly to my hard disk using Offline Download feature.
But the Archer C3150 V2 has not received any firmware updates in the last 3 years. There are a lot of features missing in this router which are actually present in cheaper routers like Archer C7. This is very disappointing that this router was marked with NEW in the Tp-link product page but never got any update in 3 years.
Features missing:
Offline Download
Scheduled Reboot
Performance Overview in homepage
LED control in Tether App
All these features are present in older and cheaper routers. Is there any Beta Firmware for this router? Or is is discontinued altogether?

Hello, thanks for bringing this up.
Currently, there are not any plans to eventually add the support for Onemesh on the Archer C3150 V2. From Onemesh compatibility concerns, please refer to the below list:
https://www.tp-link.com/onemesh/compatibility/
This will be forwarded as a feature request to our developers for consideration. Thank you again for your feedback.
Good days.

I found this thread looking for @Archerc3150 firmware update plans to add OneMesh feature and It looks like a deprecated router even it has better hardware than new ones,
I bougth it only two years ago and it is already on sale, somehting hard to understand. It would be nice if the update was considered as could support asked updates.

This router need new firmware, very need support one mesh.
And another question. Why is the print server function removed in many new models? Can't we leave her?
Thanks in advance,
Michael.

Buying TP-link products is just a waste of money, they don't even support their hardware for more than a year. This router had a great hardware but a shitty garbage software which doesn't use the full potential of the processor present in it.
Consider this before buying any products from them. It is better to buy Asus products, they have great hardware and superior software.

@Archer3150 I spent the last week probing around looking to see if there was going to be a firmware update to support onemesh on this device, only to come to find out that this product is EOL and hasn't had a firmware update since 2016. Given that a bought this device LAST YEAR, its pretty disappointing to see that TPLINK does not even bother to keep up with their firmware for at the very least security flaws and vulnerabilities. This is where Asus shines, they have devices from over 5 years ago that they are still providing firmware updates and almost every single product in their lineup supports their aimesh technology. TPLINK lost me as a customer for all future purchases.
