Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

I had it on , and i started to see the bug, then switched off, and never used it again.
All 1.3.x firmwares run for me this way.
But like i said, it`s not the solution for everyone.

Ok
If 1.3.0 not working better, I will try to upgrade to 1.3.6 and activate guest network, and when it crashes desactivate it.
Perhaps it could work...

In order to specify my context, as I said before my router is in AP Mode
2.4GHz and 5GHz activated with Channel Auto
Guest wifi disabled
Mimo activated
And as said before, with > 1.3.0 firmwares (ex: 1.3.6) after some days, wifi on 2.4Ghz becomes unusable...
for example, smartphone with only 2.4Ghz ability unable to connect to wifi, and so need too restart the router.
Downgrading to 1.3.0 no problem after several weeks, my 2.4Ghz is always usable on my smartphones and other wifi connected stuffs.

@dIaBoLyK Don't know, maybe be mode can influence.
I just wanted to give some infos with my context, hoping Tp-Link could come with a new firmware definitively solving this wifi 2.4Ghz drop problem on 1.3.x versions

Hi all,
I have tried to flash Firmware 1.3.0 but there's no stability on 2.4GHz, it seems to be less stable than the 1.3.6 one...
TP-Link support give me a beta firmware developped by their engineers to fix this problem of 2,4GHz network band.
I have just flashed it, so no return on the firmware, but I will wait to see if it's good or not.
here the link : ArcherC6v2(EU)_debug.zip
I will give you informations if it crashes or not ;)
but if you have the same problems you can perhaps try it also, it keeps all your parameters after flash ;)
