Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

@Lahiri Channel 1, Channel width set to Auto is stable for my 6 C6 routers for 15 days now. FYI I did not need to set channel width to 40mhz

Hi everybody,
I'm a french user and have some issues with wifi 2.4G...
I'm using a TP-Link Archer C6 from 2 weeks in replacement of a Xiaomi Mi Router 3G which is dead due to storm...
After around 1 week the 2.4Ghz band is not reachable, not visible... and I should move "Version" from "Auto" to "WPA2-PSK" or return to "Auto" if I'm on "WPA2-PSK" and also move "Encryption" from "Auto" to "AES" or return to "Auto" if I'm on "AES" to have the 2.4Ghz wifi available...

@DaryllD I now set the channel width to auto as Channel 1 with 40 MHz setting still crashed after 3 days.

I sent my Archer C6 V2 EU with 2.4 GHz problem to retailer 2 weeks ago and they noticed me today that I'll get the money back.

So will 2.4 GHz Band set to Channel 1, things appear much stable. Thanks to the gentlemen who suggested this as per Malaysia Tech Support.
However the Router has other bugs too. I already highlighted about the QoS thing. Once you set it on and give priority to few devices. Devices at rand stop communication with Internet, even while staying connected with WiFi (both Bands).
Yesterday night I had a much serious issue. I created a Guest Network (2.4 GHz Band) for my IoT (Smart) devices. I also enabled MAC Access Control once again and added close to 30 devices in the Whitelist. Then when I disabled Access Control for sometime and enabled it once again, the Router hung up in a peculiar way. Once 2 devices (including my Phone) could ONLY connect to the Guest Network and no other SSID's. I then restarted my Router, but nothing happened. When I connected my Laptop through Ethernet, it was not receiving IP through the DHCP service. I then set the Laptop for static IP. Evn then I could not access the web interface of the Router. However through the Phone I could access the web interface and it showed that my PC is connected through the wired Network using the static IP. After trying for over an hour, I finally had to rest the Router since I ran out of options.
Did anybody else face a similar issue accessign the Router through web interface?
