Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

We reached the point when people start looking for non TP-LINK replacement... It's been 10 weeks since the very first post in this thread at the problem still remains unsolved... Is it time to give up waiting and/or start online campaign, outside this forum, against poor problem handling by the company?

Like I said, they aren't gonna fix anything. I contacted them and they gave me the "Fck off" attitude. I am honestly open to suggestions for a dual band Gigabit router from Asus or Netgear in the similar price point.

I suspect this issue has to do with the maximum number of concurrent Wi-Fi sessions. Does anyone know how many are for this model?

@Mat2c I have 14 devices between 2'4 and 5 ghz, so I don't think this is the cause. And with 1.2.x was ok.

I'd like to bring into attention that setting the channel width to 40Mhz fixed the crashes for me. For the last 2 days, it didn't crash nor it gave the "Password incorrect" error on router reboot. It's for 2 days so it may happen in the future. I just wanna inform here to see if it fixes for other too.

40Mhz is not the solution.
Its different for others.
Hope you are on a stable version.
After that point never install any beta.
Just use it and update stable versions.

Yes I am on stable. And I am not upgrading anymore firmware. It's working fine now including my WDS Bridged router on the 2.4ghz band. No way I am changing firmware lol.
