Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

My home network consist of fiberwire modem as Internet input, then C6 as a main router. The network then is configured like that:
- one LAN cable goes to Xbox, second to TV, third to the other TP-link router upstairs,
- 3-4 WiFi users - mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc.,
- RE200 (at 5GHz) in other room connected to PC using LAN cable.
IPv6 disabled.
txbf mu-mimo enabled

Hi all,
Mine is still running, but even when it runs 2 weeks it could crash.
From my findings it runs better with guestnetworks disabled.
Disable everything that you dont need.
Never had a crash with 2.4ghz guest disabled. Tested with 1.3.0, 1.3.4 and 1.3.5. With beta 1.3.6 it crashes two or more times a day...
But i think tplink has some sort of driver problems at the moment, many different routers have such problems.

Hello,
You may go to the local TP-Link website to download the latest firmware for your Archer C6 and update it, then monitor the performance:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-c6/#Firmware
Here is the guide to upgrade it:

I bought an archer c6 before two days and it's on 1.0.1 firmware and is working just fine...I have fiber 110/5 and I get 110/5 when I am connected on wifi.
It does the job on a 90m2 apartament.
My question is do I have to upgrade to 1.3.5 as I see to many issues happening by others?

@El_Ranchero You should wait for confirmation here that everything is ok. I shouldn't have updated mine.
