Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

@Fane Same here. 2.4GHz at 1.3.7b didn't even last a full day... The only reasonable workaround (except resetting 2.4GHz wifi network) is middle of the night rebooting.

@Kevin_Z I think 1.3.7 beta is better than 1.3.5 stable for me, in term of wifi stability, I don't experienced any spike or high pings on this firmware. It's as good as 1.3.6 beta. Btw, I'm using PPPoE and enable IPv6.

Thank you for testing this.
I have decided to test my C6 with my settings longer and not to touch it. Its running about 2 Weeks with 1.3.5 now. I want to see it running about a month...
Best regards.

Hello,
Have you upgraded the C6 firmware to the 1.3.7 beta? If not yet, can you please give it a go and monitor?
Let me know if it works, thanks.

Hello,
May I know what is the network topology and is there any other Onemesh devices in the network? Is the C6 working as a router or an Access Point?
Can you please confirm again if all the devices experienced the lost packets, high ping, and unusable issue, or only the 2.4G wireless devices have this issue? Can I have the high ping/lost packets test results, how did you test this?
Thanks.

Internet provider modem is in bridge mode. Tp link modem run in router mode. Dinamic ip, no mesh. 2.4 g is often unstable on my computer that is four meters away, with high ping up to 1000 ms, and red columns in ping plotter ap.

i am facing the same 2.4 disconnection issue with my recently purchased archer c6, the issue faced in 1.3.5& 1.3.6 beta, i am using in pppoe mode, when the problem occurs, every connected device gets disconnetcted, wifi is visible but cant connect.and 2.4 wifi light is on.No problems in 5ghz. turnig off and on the wifi fixes the problem. i am using a wifi repeater in this 2.4 wifi, and one thing i noticed is that the repeters mac id changes (last 2 digts) when reastrting the repeter (reapeter used to extend the network for one device which rearely uses. so repeter is not on every time). may be this change in mac id of the reapter causing this problem.(NB : my old router which used in same situvation has no problems handling repeter in between (even my cheap 6$ router has no problems with this setup)).
