Model: TD-W8961N  
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.0.0 Build 170919 Rel.21648

I configured WDS in the two routers and it works for just 10 mins , and then the main router (the one connected to ISP) disables internet and hangs (doesn't even allow any wireless devices to connect), and i need to restart the router so it can work again. what could be the cause of this issue?

Why the main router hangs like that?

I followed this guide btw:

With the 2nd router disconnected from the main router, does this issue still there?

 

Meanwhile, when the main router stops working, what is the led status of it?

Meanwhile, have  you ever tried  to swap the locations between the 2 routers?
