Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.8

Since the new 1.3.1 firmware is released, but my deco m5 (Japan version) has not received any notification from the app or homepage in Japan.

Is that possible that I download an US 1.3.1 firmware and update it manually?

@Racerandom

Currently the new firmware is partially released. Thus, it’s normal that not all the users will be able to receive the update. But don’t worry, it will be released publicly soon within a week. For more information, you can read https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/164802?page=1&t=2019%2F07%2F20%2013%3A14%3A04%20%2B0000

Meanwhile we need upgrade the firmware from the local TP-Link official website of the purchase location for your TP-Link device, otherwise it will be against the warranty.

You can wait a while for the updates.
