Archer c5400 v2 Low wired internet speed
Hello. I got slow wired internet speed.
Should be getting 500mbit, but instead it only goes up to 200mbit.
When i reboot the router, the speeds go back up to 500mbit, but it only lasts 30min-60min and then we're back to 200mbit.
Tried updating firmware, didn't help.
Switching to different ports on router, didn't help.

Could you please provide more information so that we can give you a specific answer, included but not listed:
1. The bandwidth you paid for your ISP, and the speed you can get from the Archer C6 and modem separately.
2. The current hardware and firmware version of the Archer C6.

Hi,
I have 100Mbps fiber plan. If i connect ethernet cable directly from ISP to laptop than i get full 100mbps speed. but if i connect that ethernet cable to my router WAN port and than connect my laptop from any one LAN port i get only 50-60Mbps speed after some time. If i reboot the router than it give me full 100Mbps speed for next 20-30 minute but after some time again i started getting 50-60Mbps speed.
My router is archer c6 V2 (EU) and software version is 1.0.2

With your computer connected to the Archer C6 by wired cable, could you please run a speed test for 3 times and show us the results.
At the same time, please click here to verify the wired negotiation speed of your laptop.
Note: The steps are the same, while you need right click on local area connection or ethernet connection.
Try to change another ethernet port on the Archer C6 and change another ethernet cable with better quality(cat5e or above) to give it a go.
Any updates, please let us know.

I have found the latest firmware on the webpage, but didn't help.

its a joke ,
i have same problam same firmware 1.2.5 Build 20190411 rel.52981(4555)

internet spped go 50% less after 1 day or if i use any kind of function ( solution ) i need to ubdate the firmware agan and agan daily .
other solution its to buy other prodact not Tp link iam sorry to say that
and i know 100% of the user got same problam and its like factory error . i loss my mony for noting \

I'm having the same issue. Got Gigabit internet and only lf of that.
They completely abandoned this device. Very slow issuing firmware updates.
