Model: TL-WPA9610 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I bought the TL-WPA9610 KIT.  The pair of devices have paired - no issues.  I bought another kit and installed them as 2 pairs.

What I would like, instead of having 2 pairs of devices, is to have 1 TL-PA9020 (connected to router) connected to 2 TL-WPA9610 in seperate places about the property.  Is this possible or do i have to use them in pairs?  My only reason not using 2 pairs of devices is to save the number of power outlets being used.

I only seem to be able to pair one of the TL-WPA9610 to the TL-PA9020 at a time - USING THE PAIR buttons

Thanks

@Syko80

Hi, you can add multiple powerline adapters into the same network. in other word, with one main adapter connected to the main router by wired cable, and relocate the other extender units to extend the wifi range after paired them.

The steps to pair them are the same: pair them one by one.

1. Pair unit A and unit B with the pair button https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/258/

2. Then pair unit A and unit C. After that, the 3 units will be the same network.

Or you can use the tpPLC utility to pair them with the following instruction:

Hi

I tried to pair the units as described. However when I paid the second device the first device becomes unpaired.

Hence why I am asking if it is possible to have 2 WiFi extenders connected to the same "sender"

Thanks

@Syko80

We can connect 2 wifi extender to the same sender, so do not worry about that.

Try to use the tpPLC utility to pair them to give it a shot.

Meanwhile, you can reset them and re-pair them.
