How to update firmware when using C20 as access point mode
Hi All,
I just bought 2nd hand Archer C20, it is V4, and I am using it for Access point Mode, which I am very satisfied
My question is, how can I upgrade the firmware or even check it since I cannot open http://tplinkwifi.net and 192.168.0.1 goes to the modem (tele colombus / pyur germany).
thanks

With C20 works as an access point, login to the web interface of the main router and go to DHCP client list to get the IP address of C20.
Then use the IP address to access it and update the firmware.

Hi Kevin_Z,
Thanks for your reply.
Here is what I got from the main modem.
But I still cant access it with or without the /24. It says took too long to respond.
Another question, how significant the new firmware improvements? as actually I am happy with it so it is not that urgent to upgrade it, its just why not upgrade it if it will be better

You can unplug the cable between the main router and C20 and connect your computer to the C20 to access the web interface with 192.168.0.3.
For the latest firmware, you can refer to the release note to verify what features have been added or bug has been fixed.
