Additional M5 v1 Device added with old Firmware to a v2 M5 network
I have 3 deco m5 v2 devices in router mode and all Ethernet connected. Already updated to latest frimware. The Devices say version 1.3.0
Now I added a 4th device M5 v1 device with Firmware 1.1.5. When I use the update option in the App it says I already have the latest version.
How can I update this single device.

Any suggestion form TP-linp representative.
Question 1: How can I upgrade the firmware of a v1 in a already existing v2 latest firmware network, with the App it isn't working?
Question2: Is it even possible to have different hardware versions in a network. How will the app know/do updates if you have v2 and v1 hardware?

The 1.2.8 is the latest firmware released publicly. while 1.3.0 is an internal firmware released for a smart part of customers to test its performance.
To update the firmware of V1, you can connect it to the modem and change it to the main Deco to update the firmware; after that, you can switch them back to the original operation modes.
We can use different hardware versions in a network, even we can use different Deco models in the same network. The Deco will show up the firmware version of each unit.
