Hi,

I have a Archer C7 at home and I intend to use a external HD plugged into it to make my backup by time machine from my macbook. I formated the HD using exFAT partition and when I plug it into the router I can't find the HD on the net. It seems the router doesn't support this kind of partition, am I wrong?

Does anyone know if I can use external HD with exFat partition in this router?

Thanks in advance!
Roni Franco.

Hi,

The Archer C7 supports fat32 and ntfs; You can try to format the external HDD and give it a go.

Good day.
