I am trying to setup a VPN using PPTP i have opened the port 1723 in forward virtual server and port trigger however it still says my ip address port is blocked when i use port scanner. Any advice or the ISP

What is the current network topology?

What is the internet IP address of the TD-W9970?

For your informatoin, the TD-W9970 supports PPTP passthrough, you can find it under network-ALG settings page, with it enabled, the PPTP VPN packets can pass through the router theoretically.
