Hi,

 

We have a TP-Link Acher C3200 router for 2 years now and it always worked fine.

 

Sinds two weeks the 5g signal drops of time and time again.

The cabled signal and 2.4g wifi still works, but de two 5g signals are switched off. The green 5g logo's in the software are grey. Also the two 5g signal leds on the router itself are off.

When I turn on the two 5g signals bij checking the two boxes in the software, it woks againg for a little while.

But then the 5g signal drops off again.

 

How can I solve this problem?

 

Please advise.

Hi,

 

When the 5Ghz stops working, please login to the web interface and show us a screenshot of the basic-wireless settings page.

 

Have you ever tried to hard reset it by holding the reset button/hole for 10s with it powered on? 

 

If not, please give it a go.

We did a hard reset, but the 5Ghz signal keeps going again.

 

I made a screenshot of the standard wireles settings:

Hello,

You may need contact the tech support to check the warranty cause the device seems faulty.
