Hi,

I'd like to snoop on the connection between my Raspberry Pi server and the gateway with WireShark, but my router acts like a switch and doesn't braodcast the communications to other LAN segments.

I need to have the router act as a hub, and broadcast the server to gateway communications to all LAN segments, so that I can snoop on things with Wireshark on another computer.

I have a default interface grouping entry that should link all 4 LAN segments (?), but there is no facility to enable a virtual LAN (VLAN) of the 4 ethernet ports, as is described in the help dropdown.

I'm not buying a hub, so how do I get the router to logically link LAN segments?

T.

Hi,

The Archer VR1600v is a DSL modem router, not a switch. How do you connect it to other devices?

What is the current network topology? Who is your internet service provider?

Can you get internet from the VR1600v?What is the IP address of the Raspberry Pi server? Is it in the same segment with the Archer VR1600v and other devices?

Good day.
