Hi,

Per you know, there is no option to enable local management via https; while we will remind our engineer and they can work on it.

You can keep an eye on official website for more details/updates.

Have a nice day.

Thanks! But what do you mean by 'local'? I set up a tplinkdns.com registration and remote management, so the web UI is accessible from anywhere. That means whenever I enter my password it is sent unencrypted over a whole lot devices on the Internet.

Hi,

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought you want to access the web interface via https locally;

While just like local management, there is no https option for remote management either; you can create a complicated password;

Besides, if the hardware version is V2, you can use the Tether app to manage it remotely.

May it help and have a nice day.
