Hi,

 

Archer C4000 is a wireless router, no DSL port; if the HFC connection provides a cable, it will work with the C4000, you need plug it into the WAN/blue port of the C4000 to configure it. while please notice that you may need setup VLAN ID to make it work. 

 

How to setup VLAN ID on C4000, you can enable IPTV to do that.
