Model: Archer T9UH
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I've been searching the Internet for a driver and found TP-Link requires me to use Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. However I'm using Ubuntu 19.04 which is not supported bij TP-Link yet.

I've stumbled upon a driver being developed on github that supports the newer Linux kernels (includiing Ubuntu 19.04). You will find it here:

https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au

Instructions for installing the driver on github are self-explaining. Have fun!

I tried this, but found it a little unstable. I then found a driver implemented by Kali Linux. To install on Ubuntu 20.04:

sudo apt install dkms

sudo apt install rtl8812au-dkms

@Tom321

tried the above step on ubuntu 18.04 LTS

home@home-desktop:~$ uname -a
Linux home-desktop 4.15.0-122-generic #124-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 15 13:03:05 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

the suggestion of using

sudo apt install dkms
sudo apt install rtl8812au-dkms

did not work.

any alternatives?
