Downgrade TL-WR1042ND to 3.15.1 Build 120618
Region : Colombia
Model : TL-WR1042ND
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 3.15.1 Build 120618 Rel.41178n
ISP :
Hello,
My router has been working fine for about 2 months now but I wanted to have the latest version. Yesterday I upgraded my firmware to the 3.15.4 build but I don't remember what was my firmware (the original that came with the router) but the router began working intermittent. For example I had internet access but I couldn't access the router config web interface.
Other problem I had was that if I reserved a DHCP address for a MAC in my LAN, that computer couldn't get the desired IP from the router and instead got a 169.254.x.x address.
Also the speed was a problem because streaming youtube in my Ipad just near the router was awfully slow. I restarted the router and it got better for some time.
Now I decided to downgrade to 3.15.1 build and it's working well now.
Please TPLINK, upload firmware that is fully tested.
Hope this helps someone.
