@rpotalara

If the model is C60, I guess it doesn't support Onemesh yet. May I know how did you find that it broadcast four networks? Have you enabled the Guest Network on the router?

Back to the 2.4G not responding issue, can you please confirm if you can still see the network on the devices? Or is the Wi-Fi LED still flashing? Try to reset the router to factory default via the web GUI, check the Method 2 in the below article:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/497/

If the reset doesn't help, please try to install and run the Wi-Fi analyzer to find a clear channel for the 2.4G network, then change the 2.4G channel width to 20MHz, change the security to WPA2-PSK/AES, reboot the router and reconnect to the wireless network, then confirm.

I am using Wifi Explorer for Mac to find networks.

@rpotalara

I see. It seems that your C60 is a BR version, I just noticed that it does support Onemesh already.

As for the 2.4G not responding issue, have you tried my previous suggestions, do they help?

Hi @Kevin_Z ,

Yes, my version is BR, about problem with 2.4Ghz, yes, I tried the configurations without result´s. I tried to change channel two times and change cryptography, again without result´s. In the aleatory time, I lost 2.4Ghz.

In the image if you see, I have 5 Five networks with my configurations. According to his explanation it would be the Mesh network.

TP-LINK_DF7924 - 5 Ghz - My Corporate network 5 Ghz
TP-LINK_DF7924 - 2.4 Ghz - My Corporate network 2.4 Ghz
Hidden Network - 5 Ghz - Mesh Network ?!?!
CCATHARINA - 2.4 Ghz - My Guest network 2.4 Ghz
Hidden Network - 2.4 Ghz - Mesh Network Guest ?!?!

Thank´s.

Ricardo.

@rpotalara

Thank you very much for the investigation. As we previously replied, the hidden networks are used to build up the Onemesh wireless network with the Onemesh range extenders, and this will be optimized in the future firmware update, there will be an option to disable it.

Back to the 2.4G not responding issue, do any of the devices can see it or connect to it when it is not responding? Are they able to obtaining IP address from the router?

How many devices connect to the 2.4G network, are they all experiencing an issue when the issue happens?

Hi @Kevin_Z ,

Newest tests, when I lose 2.4Ghz signal, I lose in two devices, one cellular Motorola and one printer Canon g3111, in the Motorola I can see the 2.4Ghz signal but if I try to connect after lost, I connect and I am disconnected automatically. In the printer Canon I cant do this. When these occurs I need to power off router or access it and use the option to power off wifi signal and power on again in Wireless Menu. After this I am able to connect again.

Another thing caught my attention, if I switch to channel 11, the Canon printer is not able to connect any more.

Thank´s

Ricardo.

@Kevin_Z  link doesn't work

Kevin_Z wrote

Hi,

What do you mean you lost the 2.4GHz network? More specific symptom will be better.

Meanwhile, what is the current wifi leds? Especially the 2.4GHz one.

Is the status of 2.4GHz normal? You can confirm it on the web interface of the router.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1523/                                                                               <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Besides, did you try to power cycle the router, disable and re-enable the wifi function to give it a go?

Good day.
