Archer VR600: VDSL and bridge connection without VLAN-ID
Hi
I can't make a bridge connection without VLAN-ID. I have configured one connection with Dynamic IP(and without VLAN-ID) and it's working. But I would like to make a second connection with bridge type also without VLAN-ID. When I try to do this, I get the following error:
Error code: 85629
This VLAN ID already exists. Please input another one.
Is this a bug or a feature? What I try to achieve, is to have one interface with dynamic ip and dhcp. And the other interface that would be bridged, so users of this second interface could use ISP:s dhcp and would not be behind a nat.

Hi,
Two entries without VLAN ID cannot exist at the same time;
If you want to setup a bridge connection with VLAN ID, it is suggested to delete the dynamic IP one first and give it a go.
Good day.

Hi
Thank you for your reply.
Is there a (good) reason why there cannot be two entries without VLAN ID? With ADSL it is possible to have the setup I described.
I could put the other machine to DMZ but that is not quite the same.

Hi,
Actually they still have a VLAN ID by default even though you do not have to select it, it is designed based on customer experience, to make you customers feel more convenient,; and the same ID won't apply to 2 entries at the same time.
Good day.

Hi
Thank you for your reply.
So, are you saying that it's impossible to configure the setup I described with Archer VR600?

I'm afraid so, cause 2 entries cannot exist at the same time based on the current situation. It can not satisfy your needs.
Good day.
