Which one is more powerful?
I can see the C9 uses a 12V 3.3 Amp adapter while the A9 12V 2 Amp so I think the C9 is more poweerful am I correct in this thinking?

as I know, we cannot judge their performance via power consumption; compared to C9, archer A9 is a new product and it is a better choice if you wanna buy a wifi router.

you can't have an idea of the router based on power consumption but you can based on release date?
Everything newer is better that everything older?
I don't believe so.

Umm, I did not make myself clear, What I mean new device is regarding to their similar specfications and functions.
By comparing the spec page, the advanced features almost are the same, except A9 has 3 External Antennas + 1 Internal Antenna and supports TP-Link DDNS,DynDns, NO-IP.
So what I think is that cause it is a new device, the software used should be more secured and the performance will be better.

Both have TPLINK DDNS, but I have found the power differences, it seems the C9 wins @2.4 GHz and the A9 wins @5 GHz:

per I read, C9 does not support TP-Link DDNS; https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-c9/#specifications
While cause they both have their pros, you may buy one of them based on actual request.
