A number of people have been having problems after updating to 1.2.5 and the update has been withdrawn by Tp-link. It was withdrawn some time back, so you must have been living with these issues for a while now...
Some people have had improvements by turning beam-forming off, or changing which frequency bands - see these threads:

A support-special firmare update to fix some related issues was posted here:

Some people have reported that helping with other issues too.

Hello,
Please connect your devices as the topology below shows: modem----deco unit----PC.
And then download the beta firmware on the PC from the link below. Unzip the downloaded file, and follow the instruction in it to update the firmware for the Deco unit with the issue.

After that, please test whether it works.
Any updates, just let us know.

Hi,
I have updated my Decos acc to the instructions. According to the app, the firmware version is now 1.2.5, Build 20190228, Rel 35172 so i guess the update went ok. Unfortunately the problem with WIFI dropout persists. If I deactivate 5GHz it works better. Can I use the tool to revert to 1.2.4? When will there be a new realease with the new features that doesnt mess up the WIFI?
Thanks in advance

Hi Kevin, I have already done that bit still same problem. I can use the system without 5GHz but this also has its downsides. What do you suggest? Wait for a new uppdate or go back to 1.2.4 (if possible) ?
