Model: Deco P7  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

Strange issue with my Deco P7 system.

 

Ziggo (NL) Arris TG2492LG modem in bridge mode 192.168.100.1

Deco P7 with Synology NAS wired on second deco (upstairs) in same IP range (100-200)

Firmware 1.2.0 Build 20181210 rel. 34913

App version 1.8.1

IP reservation on NAS 

Ports forwarded in deco app

 

Internally with NAS ip:5000 normal connection, external with my standard DDNS (ip.com) no connection at all.

If have registered the tplinkdns and this seems to work... but extremely slow.

QOS is standard, no priority to any devices.

 

Any suggestions on what can be wrong?

Hello,

 

1. With NAS connected to the main deco directly, do you have the same issue? Meanwhile, what is the current network topology?

 

2. FYI, Deco only supports TP-Link DDNS; back to your case, may I know is it slow to access it with TP-Link DDNS from the external network or from the local network? Or both are slow?

 

3. Please ensure that the QoS has been set to standard and clear all high priority devices; what is more, please notice that offline devices, if they had been added into QoS/high priority, you need delete it first.
