Hello,

I have repetitive problem with my TP Link C2300 V1.0 firmware 2.0.3, build 20180810 rel 62903 latest firmware and nothing special in router settings. Only security turned on and QOS settings. With Win 10 x 64 and only wired connection without wi-fi. So my printer is Brother HL-5380DN and is connected to the pc via the router and ethernet cable. Np wi-fi at all. All works fine until i connect the router to receive internet from external antenna Ubiquiti for free wi-fi. I have connected just for a while that way. Ubiqiti gets wi-fi signal, then from the Ubiqiti to the router ethernet cable to VAN router port. After that i turn off the antenna and put back the ethernet cable from my ISP to the VAN port. But after that i cannot print. Also usually i am able to enter in web-based Utility with 192.168.0.1 too, not only with http://tplinkwifi.net But not and now, until make hard reset. I tried with restarting the router, cleared DNS in Windows with Command prompt ipconfig /flushdns and netsh int ip reset. Restarting the printer. But still cannot print. Also another wired client (PC) i see in router interface, but after cleared dns in windows at least this is cleared too and i see only one PC as client as it shut be. It must be only one desktop client. THE ONLY WAY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM IS TO RESET THE ROUTER WITH THE RESET BUTTON. Immediatly printer starts. but i need again to do my router settings, which costs me 10 minutes job each time. Can you help me how to restore the prinet to be recognized without hard reset?

Thank you!

Hello,

1. With C2300 connected to the free wifi:

what is the WAN/internet IP address of C2300?

What is the IP address of the printer? Whether you can ping the printer with other devices? Can you ping the router with the printer? Please show us the results。

Can you print at that time?

2. With disconnected the free wifi and rewired ISP cable the WAN port:

Please do the tests above as well: check the internet IP address of C2300, local IP of printer; whether you can ping the printer with local devices?

Besides, after rewire the ISP cable to the WAN port you can unplug the cable between the printer and the C2300 and then plug it back to do a test.

Good luck for you.
