Future Consideration Possibility to change WiFi channels
There should be a way to change WiFi channel, or at least the system should change it by itself, choosing the least saturated one. For 2.4GHz it is clear that it will be almost impossible to select a free channel, but on the 5GHz I only see other 2 networks and we are all in the same channel! For at least one the reason may be that our neighboor is using a TP-Link product as well.
I think this is a very basic configuration in any WiFi device, which I would have never though was not going to be possible before buying it.

Some of us have been waiting years.
I will never buy a tplink device again and I will tell other people to avoid it.

Non-Wi-Fi signals (like those from microwaves, Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, garage door openers, baby monitors, etc.) can all congest a channel but may not show up in a scan. So it’s possible that a channel can appear empty, while it is, in fact, saturated with other kinds of interference.
If they don't show up in a scan then how does the router know they are there?

@FC-link You are absolutely right. The page is already fully prepared for selecting your own channels. There is even a “save” button in the code as well. Everything is disabled via CSS, but it's just there. Matter of opening it up for us. Via CSS I already made everything visible once, only the “Save” button doesn't seem to trigger saving yet. Otherwise you can select yor own channels for the 2,4 Ghz and 5 Ghz channels.

@jcsogo This thread has been open for years and yet people keep buying TPLink so they have no reason to change it.

@bjlockie I did select PX50 because of a good offer in Amazon and good reviews in there as well. But after having/buying them, then you realize this inconvenience. That problem is now on Amazon reviews. People that do their job will inquire more about the product.
I am thinking, if TP lLink just modify the algorithm like this: if you got the best channel, then select the opposite. And that's it.
