Meanwhile you can replace the antenna, while the current antennas support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, it is okay to just install after antenna which supports 2.4GHz only, while the signal strength of 5GHz won't be as good as expected.

for Archer C2300 how can I know which antenna port is 2.4 or 5GHz? or all of them is 2.4 and 5GHz?

I found out my aftermarket antenna is only 2.4GHz, is it okay to just install aftermarket antenna?
